Hurricane Willa became a major Category 5 storm on Monday, sweeping toward Mexico’s Pacific coast with winds of 160 mph, the National Hurricane Center advised.  Forecasters said Willa is a potentially catastrophic storm that could make landfall along Mexico’s southwestern coast (including the beach resort towns of Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta) Tuesday afternoon or evening.

Cain has generated reporting to determine any travelers who may encounter disruptions due to this event and will be working to contact them to advise and discuss contingency plans.
